Technical Writing
My training career began as a Technical Trainer at Steelcase. Subsequently, I have also been a trainer in support of an AS/400 ERP and worked at two software companies supporting documentation and training. All these roles involved varying levels of technical writing, from system overviews, data sheets, release notes, help systems and manuals. I know what it's like to talk to engineers, and pour through specs & data dictionaries to write simplified content that is clear, concise and comprehendible to users.

Using MadCap Flare, I developed comprehensive, context-sensitive help to support client user navigation of a very complex case management system.
When users opened help from within the system, topics related to that screen were offered and they could also search through all topics and an index to find needed information.
